UGC will release four Swayam MOOCs on February 6th

On February 6, 2023, the University Grants Commission will introduce four Swayam MOOC courses, according to UGC Chairperson Prof. M. Jagdesh Kumar. The Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) will include the History of Indian Buddhism, Buddhist Philosophy, Abhidhamma (Pali), Community Engagement & Social Responsibility. 

These courses will start on February 6 and end on May 23, 2023, according to a tweet sent by UGC India. The University of Buddhist Courses, Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, will sponsor the course.The Ministry of Education, Government of India, launched the Swayam platform to provide online training and certification programmes. The platform aims to give students and professionals high-quality education that they can access anywhere, at any time, and for a very low price. 

Students, instructors, professionals, and anybody else who wants to learn are welcome at Swayam. There are numerous courses available on the platform in a variety of subjects, including engineering, management, the humanities, science, and more. The courses are interactive, interesting, and relevant and are taught by knowledgeable faculty from some of India’s leading institutions.
