Delhi University to announce a list of open seats for the class of 2023 today

DU 2023: The first list of vacant seats will be made public by the Delhi University (DU) tomorrow. The official website, du.ac.in, will have a list of open seats for students who applied to DU but are still hoping to get into one of the connected colleges. The varsity announced its initial list of assigned seats on August 1. According to information provided by the university, 2,02,416 qualified applicants were given consideration for allocation in the first round based on their preferred programme and college pairings. 85,853 allocations in all were made during the first CSAS round itself. 

After the first seat distribution list, candidates who accept the assigned courses and colleges have until 4:59 p.m. today (August 6) to complete their payment against the assigned seat. Following this, on August 10, the DU CSAS second allocation list will be made public, and applicants will have until August 13 to accept the institution they have been assigned to. They will have until August 15 to complete their payment in accordance with the second list. The third merit list will thereafter be released on August 22 after which Delhi University will once more publish a list of open seats on August 17.
