IIT Kanpur Launches Six New Online PG Programmes; No GATE Scores Needed

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has launched six new online postgraduate programmes. The registration for these programmes will be open till October 31.

These online programs at IIT Kanpur do not require GATE scores for admission. The classes will begin in January 2024, and interested individuals have until October 31 to submit their applications via emasters.iitk.ac.in.

The Department of Management Sciences will administer three of the new online PG programs, including Data Science and Business Analytics, Financial Technology and Management, and Power Sector Regulation, Economics, and Management, while the Department of Economics has introduced the eMasters degrees in Business Finance, Financial Analysis, and Public Policy.

The IIT Kanpur’s new cohorts of eMasters programs have been created to meet the industry’s growing demand for qualified individuals to spearhead these changes.

According to a release from IIT Kanpur, the executive-friendly eMasters degree programs can be pursued without halting professional careers. These online PG programs offer flexibility in completion time, ranging from one to three years.

In order to continue their studies (MTech/PhD) at IIT Kanpur, participants in these new online PG degree programs may benefit from a credit transfer system that permits the transfer of up to 60 credits. Participants in the program also have access to the alumni network, incubation cell, and placement cell of IIT Kanpur.
