Applications invited for the Citizens for Public Leadership Fellowship 2024
The CPL Fellowship 2024 will officially begin in 2024, according to Citizens for Public Leadership. The CPL Fellowship is a one-year, part-time, online fellowship programme for anyone who want to develop their public policy skills. All graduates with a minimum age of 19 are eligible for the fellowship. Candidates that have a strong enthusiasm for and dedication to the public sector are encouraged to apply online by November 30, 2023. The CPL fellowship, which lasts for ten months and is broken up into three trimesters, aims to promote organised and cohesive learning. According to the official release, the fellows will participate in skill workshops, group discussions, one-on-one mentoring, and lectures throughout the fellowship.The CPL fellowship will cover nine subject areas in its curriculum: law, politics, social and urban policy, foreign policy, media, Indian history, ethics, and technology.
The statement further added that the curriculum is designed to equip fellows with multi-party negotiation skills, design thinking, advocacy/campaign skills, evidence-based decision-making frameworks, adaptive leadership, effective social media communication, public speaking, and persuasive writing skills. It claimed that the all-encompassing and comprehensive curriculum will lay the foundation for all major focus areas of public policy.
Following one-on-one mentoring from CPL Fellowship, fellows have gone on to study at Harvard Kennedy School, London School of Economics, Columbia University, University of Sussex, and many more institutions, the statement continued.
