FMGE 2023: Registration Begins on Today

The National Medical Commission (NMC) will tomorrow (October 16) begin the registration of the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam (FMGE) 2023. Interested candidates will be able to apply at the official website — nbe.edu.in.

The last date to apply online for the FMGE 2023 December session is October 25 (till 6 pm).

FMGE June 2023: How to apply

Step 1: Visit the official NBE website — nbe.edu.in

Step 2: Fill the user registration form to generate User ID/Application ID and password

Step 3: Complete the application form and upload photograph, scanned signature and other documents.

Step 4: Choose test city and pay the examination fee

Step 5: Take a print out of the filled application form with transaction ID.

As per the recent announcement, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBSEMS) will likely conduct the FMGE 2023 exam in December, NMC said.

Additionally, according to NMC, all applicants who need eligibility certifications must submit their applications via the NMC website. “Requirement of eligibility certificate may be confirmed by referring to public notice dated 11.12.2018 and 05.04.2019 from NMC website,” it continued.

For applicants from India and outside seeking a temporary or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) to practice or study medicine in India, the medical commission administers FMGE twice a year.
