A number of scholarships are available from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow to applicants from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences who wish to enroll in postgraduate taught programs for the 2023–2024 academic year. Students who are interested can apply at strath.ac.uk, the university’s official website.

Applying for a scholarship award entitles students enrolled in postgraduate taught degree programs to a reduction of 15% in tuition fees, usually between £2,500 and £3,000. For exceptional candidates pursuing postgraduate taught degrees, the University also offers a small number of Dean’s International Excellence Awards, worth between £4,000 and £5,000.

Nonetheless, candidates will be evaluated for all tiers of postgraduate-taught scholarships with just a single application.

A total of 285 scholarships between £2,500 and $5,000 are up for grabs. November 30 is the deadline for entries due in January 2024. Candidates for the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences International Scholarship must have an undergraduate degree with a 2:1 (or equivalent).

This scholarship, which is good for one year, assists with tuition. Education, English, History, Law, Languages, Politics, Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Journalism, Social Policy, International Relations, and Social Work are among the subjects for which this scholarship is valid.

Students must demonstrate academic excellence (typically a UK first-class undergraduate degree or an international equivalent) and the potential to significantly impact the Strathclyde community both during their studies and in their chosen profession after graduation (as determined by the information provided in the scholarship application form) in order to be considered for a Dean’s International Excellence Award.
