The Master of Arts in Spanish (MASL) program, which is set to start in January 2024, was announced by the IGNOU School of Foreign Languages on January 18. The goal of this program is to give students a comprehensive understanding of Hispanic literature, culture, and history so they can understand the current changes in the area.

According to IGNOU, the curriculum also includes practical modules like linguistics, interpretation, and translation studies. After completing the MASL program successfully, students will be able to explain and articulate a variety of aspects of Hispanic cultures. The program gives students the option to leave after the first year, with instruction given solely in Spanish by professionals with a variety of specializations.
