IIM Bangalore Launches Free Online Digital Course on New Age Business Models

IIM Bangalore’s digital learning vertical IIMBx has announced a new course on New Age Business Models. The Ministry of Education’s online learning platform, SWAYAM, is the venue for this six-week short course. The course is free and designed for all levels of students, including undergraduates, postgraduates studying business management, working professionals, aspiring entrepreneurs, and business owners, according to IIM-B. 

Professor K Ganesh, an experienced entrepreneur and adjunct faculty at IIM-B, created the course.

It covers recently developed new business models such as direct-to-consumer companies, platforms, marketplaces, and aggregators. Lectures are given by prominent figures in the industry, including Vikram Vaidyanathan, Managing Partner at Matrix Partners, Arun Narayan, Vice President at Tanishq, Ananth Narayan, CEO and Founder of Mensa Brands, and Shekar Sharma, founder and CEO of Paytm.

The pedagogy, which combines video lectures, case studies, tests, self-evaluation, and discussion forums, will assist students in comprehending the subtleties of business models and the workings of successful new-age companies.

The course starts on January 29, but registration closes on February 29, 2024.
