British Council Announces Scholarships Worth Rs 10.41 Lakh for Indian Students

British Council has announced the GREAT Scholarships 2024 which will let students from India undertake postgraduate taught studies in the UK from autumn 2024, across various fields of study. The scholarship is in partnership with the UK government’s GREAT Britain campaign.

The British Council has announced the GREAT Scholarships 2024, which will enable Indian students to pursue postgraduate taught studies in a variety of subjects in the UK starting in the fall of 2024. The GREAT Britain campaign of the UK government is partnered with the scholarship program.

The UK’s international agency for cultural exchange and educational opportunities is called the British Council.

As part of the program, 26 postgraduate GREAT scholarships are being offered to Indian students by 25 UK universities this year. Finance, marketing, business, psychology, design, humanities, dance, and other topics are covered. According to the official announcement, each GREAT scholarship is valued at least £10,000 and will be applied toward the cost of tuition for a one-year postgraduate program in the UK in 2024–2025.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, the program 2024 also grants two scholarships to Indian students pursuing degrees in law and justice. There are two participating higher education institutions offering these scholarships. Applying for these scholarships is open to Indian students interested in studying a variety of subjects, including criminal justice, property law, human rights, and commercial law.

In order to be eligible to apply for the scholarships, students must meet the prerequisites set forth by each participating university for their chosen course and have received an offer of admission from one of those institutions.
