Students at IIT Madras can now access an online AI-based English learning tool to help them become more proficient communicators. The central library at IIT Madras includes a subscription to Lanquill, an online language lab that uses artificial intelligence to provide a holistic English learning experience. With the use of self-paced tutorials and multi-media content, students may access over 500 hours of learning through this, improving their comprehension of English grammar in their own tongue.

“Everyone needs to be able to communicate in English, whether it be for general peer interaction, technical paper writing, quizzes, semester examinations, internship interviews, project reports, and placement interviews. For learners of all skill levels, the AI-inspired LANQUILL tool is appropriate. It facilitates the clear expression of ideas by pupils in both academic and professional settings. Additionally, a real-time speech analyzer may help you pronounce words correctly and enhance your accent. A grammar checker can also assist you in exploring several areas of your writing, such as sentence structure, sentence length, writing style, punctuation, voice, and much more, according to IIT Madras.
