Jamia Millia Islamia Launches New MTech, BTech Courses; JEE Score Required

Jamia Millia Islamia today announced the launch of several innovative self-financed programmes in BTech and MTech. Admissions to all BTech programmes will be based on the final ranking of the candidates in the JEE Main.

The BTech in Electrical and Computer Engineering, the MTech in Data Sciences, the BTech in Electronics (VLSI design and technology), and the BTech in Computer Science & Engineering (Data Sciences) are some of the new courses.

These self-financed programmes are offered with an annual fee of Rs 1,50,000 for B Tech and Rs 54,000 for MTech. Application forms are available at the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia— jmicoe.in.

The online admission forms for the courses where the test will be conducted by JEE will be made available 10 days from the declaration of results by respective agencies.

Programme details

The BTech in Electrical and Computer Engineering, the MTech in Data Sciences, the BTech in Electronics (VLSI design and technology), and the BTech in Computer Science & Engineering (Data Sciences) are some of the new courses.

In a similar vein, the BTech in Electronics (VLSI Design and Technology) program is structured to teach students in this strategically important field and equip them to take on the challenge of creating and producing cutting-edge nanoelectronics chips and devices on Indian soil. The curriculum will be comparable to that of reputable institutes in India and overseas and will be based on the demands of the semiconductor and chip design industries.

BTech Computer Science and Engineering (Data Sciences) will offer students a comprehensive curriculum covering key topics such as programming languages, algorithms, database systems, data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning.

MTech Data Sciences is a postgraduate programme focused on advanced studies in Data Sciences, which combines elements of computer science, statistics, and domain-specific knowledge to extract insights and knowledge from data.
