Jamia RCA to Open Applications for UPSC Civil Services 2025 Free Coaching Programme on March 18

Free coaching (with a hostel facility) for UPSC Civil Services exam preparation is scheduled to begin accepting applications at the Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), Center for Coaching and Career Planning, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) in 2025. Applications for this program are open to candidates from minority, SC, ST, and women’s communities. The deadline for applying (online only) is May 19, even though the application window will open on March 18. Interested candidates can register at jmicoe.in.

To select applicants for the free coaching program for UPSC CSE, the university will hold entrance exams at the following ten locations: Delhi, Srinagar, Jammu, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Mumbai, Patna, Lucknow, Bengaluru, and Malappuram.

There are up to 100 seats available this year. Accommodation in a hostel is required and will be provided to all registered students. In the event of a shortage, admission test scores alone may determine which hostel seats are prioritized.

An interview and an entrance exam are used in the applicant selection process. June 1st is when the written exam is expected to take place.

Papers 1 and 2 will comprise the two sections of the exam. Paper 2 is an essay writing assignment, while Paper 1 is general studies. There will only be objective-style questions in Paper 1. Paper 1 is worth 100 marks, while Paper 2 is worth 60. Only the essays of the top 900 students will be assessed, based on their performance on paper 1 (MCQ test marks). The online interview will be worth a total of forty marks.
