IIM-Lucknow to Launch Angel Investing Certification Programme

Startup accelerator program India Accelerator Wednesday announced a partnership with the IIM-Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Centre to introduce an early-stage venture capital – Angel Investing Certification program. This collaboration seeks to empower aspiring angel investors with the knowledge and skills of the art and science of investing in the startup asset class.

Registration for the two-day residential program at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow EIC (Noida) campus will close on March 24 and take place on April 6 and 7, 2024. According to a statement from IIM-Lucknow, this brief programme is designed to help HNIs, UHNIs, CAs, family offices, and startup mentors understand the startup investing landscape and opportunities for wealth creation.

In order to provide a deep dive on a wide range of topics, including startup evaluation, investment thesis, valuation models, network and syndicates, AIFs, portfolio management, taxation, legal framework, and exit strategies, faculty members of IIM-Lucknow and startup experts from India Accelerator designed the programme.

Angel The statement also stated that as more and more high-net-worth individuals look for differentiated products that give them the option to generate better positive alpha on their investments, investing in startups through AIFs is predicted to continue to be one of the fastest-growing managed product categories.

Along with networking within the startup ecosystem and gaining useful insights, participants will also engage with prominent figures in the industry.
