The Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), Centre for Coaching and Career Planning, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), on April 4 extended the last date for submission of application form for free coaching (with a hostel facility) for the preparation of the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary-cum-Main) examination 2024.

Candidates now have until June 19 to complete the online application form for the free UPSC coaching, per the updated timetable.

Additionally, the June 1 exam date has been rescheduled to June 29. Online interviews for the UPSC entrance exam will likely take place from July 29 to August 12 following the projected release of the written test results on July 20. Admissions will close on August 19 and the final result will be announced on August 14.

Following this, on August 22, candidates for the waiting list will register, and on August 28, candidates will be admitted. The first day of classes is August 30.

There are 100 spots available for UPSC coaching through this entrance exam this year. All admitted students must reside in a hostel, which will be supplied. In the event of a scarcity, admission test results will establish the tight order of priority for hostel places. In the event that enough acceptable candidates are not available, RCA retains the right to lower the intake.

Students would be required to pay a maintenance fee for the dorm each month of Rs 1000, which needs to be paid six months in advance, or Rs 6000. They then have to pay the maintenance fee two months ahead of time. The charges of female students would be placed in the Provost Office/Girl Hostel.

According to the institution, since its founding, RCA has made over 600 selections in the Civil Services and other Central and State Services. Shruti Sharma, who placed first in the Civil Services Examination 2021 and achieved an All India Rank 1 ranking, recently achieved this feat.
