The University of Delhi (DU) will start the application process for admission to its postgraduate programme from next week. According to the Vice-Chancellow, Yogesh Singh, the university is starting the PG application process for 2024-25 academic year from April 25 and for undergraduate programmes from mid-May.

The University will start accepting PG applicants for 82 courses. Additionally, the university will begin registration for two five-year integrated programs and three BTech programs.

This year, the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) will be used for admission to BA LLB programs, whereas the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) will be used for entrance to BTech programs.

Additionally, the institution had suggested launching dual degree, cooperative research, and joint degree programs last year.

The Common institution Entrance Test (CUET) was the basis for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) last year, which the institution used to accept applications for UG and PG admissions. The CUET UG exam is scheduled for May, although the CUET PG 2024 result has already been released.

The CUET PG test was administered to about 4,62,603 distinct registered applicants this year between March 11 and March 28. This year, DU is one of 190 universities (central, state, private, and other) taking part in CUET PG.

For the CUET UG, NTA has received almost 13 lakh applications this year. Thirteen,47,618 students registered for CUET UG 2024, according to NTA data.
