IIM Kochi Campus Breaches 200 Students Mark in Executive MBA Programme

The Indian Institute of Management Kochi (IIM-K) campus has enrolled 200 participants in its executive MBA programme. This year’s course batch includes 200 students, with four international participants: two from Saudi Arabia, one from Kuwait, and one from Germany. Female candidates comprise a quarter of the batch, at 24 per cent.

Furthermore, more than 75% of the pupils live outside of the state.

According to an IIM-K announcement, this batch will offer two-weekday online cohorts and a one-weekend in-person cohort to accommodate learners from outside Kerala. Participants in the batch come from a variety of backgrounds, including the public sector, PSUs, supply chain management and logistics, healthcare, and education. Additionally, the largest representation is found in the IT and ITES sector (35%), which is followed by manufacturing (12%), healthcare and education (8%), banking and financial services (7%), and manufacturing (12%).

Additionally, the announcement stated that the institute has launched additional courses, such as an MBA in Finance, an MBA in Liberal Studies & Management, and a one-year Post Graduate Program in Business Leadership (2019–2020).

The campus recently held the induction ceremony for the 11th batch (2024–2026) of the Executive Post Graduate Program (EPGP), which was established in 2013. Professor Debashis Chatterjee, the director of IIM Kozhikode, and Dr. Aravind Srinivasan, the chief medical officer and director of projects at Aravind Eye Care System, were the primary guests at the induction event.

Executive Education is the primary focus of the IIM Kozhikode satellite campus, which was established in 2013 at Infopark, Kochi. The honor of starting a PhD (Practice Track) program specifically for working professionals belongs to IIM Kozhikode.
