VIT Invites Application for Various Online Courses for Professionals

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is offering online programmes in various courses such as MBA, MSc DS, and MCA to cater to professionals. The courses will begin from August 14 onwards. Interested and eligible candidates can enrol themselves for the programmes.

About the VIT courses

MBA

According to the press release, the course is intended for professionals who wish to advance to senior positions and develop their managerial abilities, as well as graduates or entry-level workers who wish to learn how to create long-term business strategies to navigate complicated market dynamics for sustainable growth.

A wide number of subjects are included in the MBA program, including portfolio management, business analysis and valuation, data analytics, operations management, managerial economics, and security analysis. The cost of this two-year degree programme is INR 1,60,000.

MSc Data Science 

It is intended for professionals with bachelor’s degrees in mathematics, computer science, physics, statistics, engineering, or technology who are currently employed in the data science, analytics, or IT fields. This program is also appropriate for recent bachelor’s degree graduates or entry-level workers in non-data science positions.

Application-based learning with tools, courses on AI and ML, Python programming, forecasting and predictive analytics, statistical inference, data structures and algorithms, data mining, and big data analytics are all included in the four-semester MSc DS curriculum. The cost of this two-year degree programme is INR 1,50,000.

MCA 

The course is for software engineers, developers and consultants, web designers and developers, app developers, full stack engineers, front-end developers, software architects, and other professionals in digital technology roles, read a statement from the press release.

The comprehensive curriculum for MCA includes a choice of electives to help learn about trending technologies, such as AI, ML, blockchain, cybersecurity, AR/VR and big data. The programme also provides hands-on experience with tools and programming languages. This two-year degree programme has a fee of Rs  1,40,000.

The Institute will grant students degrees of completion upon satisfactory completion of the programs. In addition, participants will be granted access to exclusive alumni events and networking opportunities, as well as the status of VIT alumni.
