Mumbai University Begins Registration Process for First Year Admissions

The University of Mumbai has begun pre-admission online registration for applicants seeking admission to three- or four-year undergraduate degrees for the academic year 2024-25. The online enrollment period for Mumbai University will finish on June 10.

Students who are interested and meet the qualifying criteria can go to Mumbai University’s official website and register at muugadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Mumbai University admission 2024: UG important dates

Application sale (Online and offline by concerned colleges) : May 25 – June 10 up to 1 pm

Pre-admission online registration: May 25  to June 10

Online admission form submission: May 25  to June 10 up to 1 pm, pre-admission registration required

First merit list: June 13 up to 5 pm

Online document verification and fee payment: June 14 to June 20, up to 3 p.m.

Second merit list: June 21, up to 5 p.m.

Online document verification and fee payment: June 22 to June 27, up to 3 p.m.

Third merit list: June 28, up to 5 p.m.

Online document verification and fee payment: June 29 – July 3, up to 3 p.m.

Classes and orientation begin on July 4.

Mumbai University has also issued the admission timetable for postgraduate admissions in 2024. The initial merit list for PG admissions is expected to be released on June 26, as the varsity plans to begin the new academic year on July 1. Affiliated colleges are instructed to adhere to the authorized admission schedule.

Admission applications can be submitted online from May 22 to June 15.

Online verification of documents by departments: June 20 (till 6 p.m.)

Provisional merit list: June 21 (6 p.m.).

Student grievances: June 25 (up until 1 p.m.)

First merit list: June 26 (6 p.m.).

Online fee payment: June 27 – July 1 (up to 5 p.m.)

Second merit list: July 2 (6 p.m.).

Online fee payment: July 3–July 5 (up to 5 p.m.).

Commencement of lectures: July 1
