DU UG Admissions 2024: Delhi University Launches CSAS Portal

Delhi University has launched a Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for Undergraduate admission. Students who have appeared for the CUET UG exam can register for the CSAS application portal from the official website — ugadmission.uod.ac.in

Interested applicants must enter their application number and password to log in and download the application form.

According to DU registrar Vikas Gupta, single-child girl students would be admitted to all courses as supernumerary seats beginning this year. At a press conference, Haneet Gandhi, the dean of admissions, announced that the CSAS website is now open for student registration.

DU- UG CSAS 2024: Steps to register

Step 1: Visit the official website — ugadmission.uod.ac.in

Step 2: On the home page, click on the UG CSAS registration link

Step 3: Enter the appropriate credentials.

Step 4: Fill up your information and pay the registration fee.

Step 5: Click on Submit

Step 6: Download and save for future reference.

The Common Seat Allocation System (UG) 2024 is separated into three phases: phase I, applying to the University of Delhi, phase II, filling preferences for programs and colleges, and phase III, allocation-cum-admission.

Candidates applying for BFA/BSc(PE,HE, and S)/BA(H) Music will have to pay an additional fee of Rs 400 (non-refundable). For applying to the ECA and Sports supernumerary quota, there is an additional fee of Rs 100 for each quota.

DU- UG CSAS 2024: Eligibility criteria

– Candidates must have completed the Class 12 or equivalent test from a single recognized board. The candidate must refer to the program-specific eligibility to determine which subjects to take in the CUET UG 2024.


– Candidates must take the CUET UG 2024 exam in the disciplines in which they are currently enrolled or have completed Class 12. A marksheet from more than one recognized board may be evaluated to determine programme-specific eligibility and to map the CUET subject(s) to Class 12 subject(s), if the candidate passes those subjects in Class 12.


– DU has 79 courses and 69 colleges. Candidates should be aware that admission to all UG programs at UoD will be made through this portal based on the CUET UG 2024.
