India In New York Launches Internship Platform For Indian Students

The Consulate General of India in New York has launched a new website for seeking internship opportunities in an effort to increase employment opportunities for Indian students studying in the United States. This project, which was unveiled on Wednesday, attempts to link Indian students with different industries.

“As part of the initiative to support Indian students in its jurisdiction, India in New York has developed a platform for Indian students to find internship opportunities at companies in the USA,” the embassy announced on X, formerly Twitter.

Numerous businesses and organizations have expressed support for this new platform. It goes on to say, “Numerous Indian and American companies and organizations have agreed to consider internship opportunities for deserving Indian students.” 

Students who are interested can look into and apply for these positions via the indiainnewyork.gov.in/job/index webpage.

The embassy made it clear that it is not involved in the selection process and emphasized the significance of students applying directly to the businesses featured on the portal. It is recommended that students apply directly to the companies using the information found on the site.
