One of the first overseas branch campuses in India, the University of Wollongong India (UOW India) at GIFT City, will begin offering two programs on July 29: the Graduate Certificate in Computing and the Master of Computing (Data Analytics).

The orientation is set to take place from July 29 to August 2, with a 25-student maximum for each program. The talks will start on August 5.

The institution also announced the opening of applications for its three FinTech programs on Wednesday: Graduate Certificate in Financial Technology, Master of Financial Technology, and Master of Financial Technology (Extension). These courses will start offering classes in November of this year. These programs will start with an initial intake of 20–25 students and progressively increase the number of seats in the ensuing years.

The launch of the FinTech programs will give students job choices in the fields of blockchain technology, digital payments, data analytics, financial advising, and machine learning, according to UOW India Campus Director Nimay Kalyani, who spoke with The Indian Express.

As we approach the launch of our campus in GIFT City, India’s premier global financial and technology hub, we are thrilled to begin accepting FinTech applications from students, stated Kalyani.

According to Kalyani, “UOW India will be the third-highest ranked university in India and will be in the top 1% of universities worldwide, ranking equal 167th in the latest QS World Rankings,” when the GIFT City campus opens later this month.

Additionally, students will be able to take part in work-integrated learning programs, which will include internships as well as non-internship options like teachers incorporating industry-identified difficulties into lessons. Through actual application of classroom knowledge to real-world business problems, students will obtain practical experience.

Our goal is to provide top-notch education in India, which enhances the experience and knowledge of our highly qualified faculty members and industry specialists who help deliver the programs.

Students will be able to learn in-depth details about the FinTech business in a top-notch campus environment thanks to the FinTech programs that will be available at UOW India’s GIFT City campus.

FinTech courses at UOW India will give students the expertise, know-how, and experience they need to succeed in the finance industry and the rapidly developing sector of financial technology.

The Graduate Certificate in Financial Technology is a brief curriculum that focuses on innovative advancements in the field. It assists students in gaining a solid understanding of the various applications of technology, including banking and insurance.

The goal of the Master of Financial Technology and Extension programs is to give students a thorough grasp of the sector and how it affects the world economy.
