The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow is offering the Faculty of Science international masters scholarship for Physics. Scholarships of £6,000 are available to new international students joining a postgraduate taught masters degree in the Department of Physics in the 2024-25 academic year.

The scholarship will be awarded to any postgraduate taught masters offer holders in the Department of Physics who satisfy the eligibility requirements. An additional application is not required.

Eligibility

Candidates must meet the following requirements in order to be eligible for a Faculty of Science International Masters Scholarship in Physics:

  • Obtain an admission offer by July 31, 2024, for a full-time, taught master’s degree in the Department of Physics for the 2024–2025 academic year, as a new, international fee-paying student.
  • Be self-funded.
  •  Should not have any other scholarship. Students who receive full scholarships, for example from a government office or embassy, will not be eligible.

In order to be eligible for a Faculty of Science International Masters Scholarship for Physics, applicants must fulfill all of the aforementioned requirements.

Recipients of the scholarship must continue to fulfill all of the prerequisite requirements in order to enroll in classes for the 2024–2025 academic year.

Students should be aware that the prize will expire if the recipient decides to postpone their offer of admission until the next academic year.

The scholarship will be given to the student to help with their tuition costs. It can’t be applied to deposit payments. The University of Strathclyde grants scholarships to students just once every academic year. Any objections will not be taken into consideration; the Faculty of Science’s decision on the scholarship distribution is final.
