JNU Admission 2024: Registration Window Extended for UG, COP Programmes
The deadline for submitting an online application for admission to undergraduate (UG) and certificate of proficiency (COP) programs has been extended by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). The updated timeline states that the paperwork must be submitted by August 14 at 11:50 p.m.
According to the schedule, from today, August 13, to August 14, candidates who made mistakes on their registration forms can also correct them. Only within the allotted period will the candidates be permitted to edit their forms.
Aspirants who are still left to fill the form and are willing to do so can fill the online application from the official website – jnuee.jnu.ac.in. Candidates will require their NTA application number and date of birth to get themselves registered. The candidates will be allotted the seats on the basis of their CUET scores.
Eligibility Criteria for JNU UG and COP Programmes
For admission to the BA and BSc programs, candidates must have earned at least 45% of the possible points in Class 12 or an equivalent exam from an accredited board. The National Testing Agency’s (NTA) Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2024) results will determine who gets in.
– For Certificate of Proficiency (COP) Programmes: Candidates must have secured a minimum of 45 per cent marks in Class 12. There will be no viva voce examination for admission to BA, BSc, or COP programmes.
The application fee for UG programmes is Rs 268 and for COP programmes, the fee is Rs 219. Candidates must pay the registration fee before submitting the application form.
The first allotment list is expected to be out till August 21. Applicants are also advised to keep visiting the official JNU website for any further information.
