IIM-Bangalore Introduces Executive General Management Program in Pune
The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) is launching the 71st cohort of the Executive General Management Programme (EGMP) at Pune. This programme is specifically designed for working professionals residing in Pune and neighbouring cities.
The EGMP at IIM Bangalore is a part-time course intended for working people. It provides a demanding curriculum over ten months that is taught through a combination of live online modules, in-person sessions at IIM Bangalore, and in-person sessions in Pune. This adaptable approach ensures that participants receive the same excellent education from IIM Bangalore while saving money on travel and lodging.
October 7 is the deadline for program registration, and the program will start on November 4. Students can register by searching for “EGMP Pune” using the term “eep.iimb.ac.in” on the official IIM Bangalore website.
According to the official release, this is a major extension of IIM Bangalore’s Executive Education services, opening up its well-known management programme to a larger audience.
Those in their mid-career who want to advance to senior management positions should take this program. The years of experience, caliber of experience, educational background, and diversity-related indicators are taken into consideration during the selection process. A minimum of five years of work experience in the industry following graduation is required for eligibility.
On successful completion of the programme, participants are granted the IIM Bangalore Executive Education Programme Alumni status that allows them to be a part of the global IIMB alumni network.
“Pune is the hub for reputed manufacturing units, IT companies, GCCs, and the armed forces but professionals in Pune do not have access to high-quality management programs from globally renowned B-Schools. This initiative from IIMB will help working executives in Pune consume a world class program,” said S Parthasarathy, the Chief Programme Officer, Executive Education Programmes.
