IIT-Madras’ Pravartak, SWAYAM Plus to Jointly Launch Skill-based Training programme for Engineering & Science Students

The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT M) Pravartak Technologies Foundation has partnered with SWAYAM Plus to launch a new initiative to train Engineering and Science students with electronics background with industry-ready technical skills. Interested candidates can register at the official IIT Madras Pravartak website – iitmpravartak.org.in/advanced_electronic_mfg.

The official calendar states that the training session will take place from October 7–18. October 3 is the deadline for applications. Students that have a background in electronics and are engineering, diploma, science, or graduate students are eligible for this program.

The programme will be delivered in physical format (a classroom-based hands-on training programme) at IIT Madras and will focus on Semiconductor Industry.

The cost of instruction for this programme is Rs 15,000 + GST. The cost of accommodation at the IIT Madras campus will be Rs 650 per day per student, which covers lodging and meals. Accommodation requests must be submitted by October 3 at the latest.

Students who perform well in this 11-day training program will receive Placement Assistance. The students who are selected for the training programme to teach industry-ready skills will be chosen by Pravartak. The training course will be held on the campus of IIT Madras.

PCB assembly, STM 32 microcontroller embedded system design, GPIO port configuration, PWM generation, ADC and DAC interface, LCD display interface, servo and stepper motor interface, comprehension of SMT reflow soldering, PCBA pick and place system, Overview of power electronic components, DC to DC power converters, AC to DC power converters, DC to AC inverters, and PWM basics are among the topics covered in the course.
