IIM-Ahmedabad Placement Begins in November in Hybrid Mode

The Indian Institute of Management- Ahmedabad (IIM-A) in November will begin the placement in hybrid mode for the PGP programme. The decision is taken so that companies can visit the campus or conduct the process online, based on their convenience. The institute will follow a rolling process post-Cluster 3, if necessary.

November 12 is the date of the Summer Internship Recruitment Process 2024–25 for the PGP-FABM program at IIM Ahmedabad. This process will adhere to the same timetable as the PGP program.

Here is the schedule for the same:
Cluster 1: November 12
Cluster 2: November 15
Cluster 3: November 18

As for PhD admissions, has stated that it will begin to reserve spots starting in 2025, satisfying a long-standing request from the Global IIM Alumni Network.

“Government of India guidelines for reservation are followed during admission,” according to a clause included in the online applications for PhD programs that IIMA released last weekend. Applications can be submitted online starting on September 19 and must be submitted by January 20.

IIMA was the only IIM out of the 20 to still be using the reservation. A member of the Global IIM Alumni Network named Anil Wagde filed a lawsuit in the Gujarat High Court in 2021 to have reservations made for PhD programs at IIMA implemented.
