University of Southampton Delhi Announces Gurgaon’s International Tech Park as its Campus in India
University of Southampton, Delhi has announced International Tech Park, Gurgaon, as the location of its Indian campus.
The initial student intake is scheduled to begin in August 2025, and the campus building is expected to be finished by April 2025. According to a statement from the university, “the new campus will bring world-class education, research, and enterprise opportunities to India through the excellent facilities offered at International Tech Park.”
Because Gurgaon is a growing center for creativity, technology, and business in India, we decided to build our new campus there at the International Tech Park. Our students are immersed in a forward-thinking environment thanks to the International Tech Park’s prime location, which is surrounded by cutting-edge industries and exciting job prospects. The campus’s cutting-edge layout will encourage innovation and teamwork, and its amenities will support both academic success and the welfare of its students. Professor Andrew Atherton, Vice-President of International and Engagement at the University of Southampton, stated that this setting will enable students to not only obtain top-notch instruction but also acquire the real-world experience and industry connections necessary to succeed in their professions.
The campus will offer a student hub, social and collaboration areas, a large library, private study spaces, IT labs and training suites. Moreover, it will feature a dedicated research space that is aimed at promoting academic and student collaboration.
Fitness centers, dining halls, table tennis areas, and sports facilities including tennis and basketball courts—a cricket pitch is currently being developed—are all available to students at the International Tech Park. Golf courses, football fields, and equestrian centers are also close by, which improves the entire student experience. As an operational partner, Oxford International will provide the know-how required to maintain the same high levels of education and employability that students in the UK enjoy.
The new campus, which will be IGBC LEED Platinum pre-certified, will be situated inside the 60 acres of International Tech Park. Internationally renowned architect Morphogenesis is designing the campus, which will be housed in a brand-new, accessible building.
