UGC NET December 2024 Exam from Jan 3, Subject-Wise Dates Released

The University Grants Commission (UGC) on December 21 has released the subject-wise exam dates for the National Eligibility Test (NET) starting on January 3. The UGC NET December 2024 exam will continue till January 16. Initially, the exam was scheduled to be held from January 1.

The December 2024 exam for 85 disciplines will be administered by the NTA, which administers the UGC NET in order to award Junior Research Fellowships and appoint Assistant Professors. This will be done for both Assistant Professor appointments and PhD admission. The tests will be administered online.

The website announces the dates of the UGC NET subject-by-subject exams. There will be two shifts for the UGC NET December 2024 exam: one from 9 am to 12 pm and another from 3 pm to 6 pm.

The notification regarding intimation of UGC NET 2024 December exam city intimation will be displayed on NTA website prior to eight days of exam. The official website of UGC NET is ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

UGC conducts NET through the National Testing Agency (NTA). NTA UGC NET is held twice a year – in June and December.
