The Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu, (IIT Jammu) has introduced a BTech course in Engineering Physics. With 25 seats, admission will be completed through the JEE Advanced 2025 scores, via JoSAA counselling.

In addition to theoretical, experimental, and computational courses like nano and microfabrication and computational materials design, IIT Jammu’s curriculum covers semiconductors, quantum sensors, quantum computers, batteries, and solar cells.

Skills acquired after IIT Jammu course:

–Semiconductor fabrication

–VLSI chip design

–Photonic Device Design

–Quantum Computing & communication

–Design Quantum Algorithms

Students enrolled in IIT Jammu courses will have access to government research organizations, business, and academic possibilities. In the meantime, the comprehensive timetable for the 2025 counseling procedure has been made public by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Participants may be candidates who have passed JEE Main 2025 or who want to pass JEE Advanced 2025.

Only candidates who have cleared JEE Main 2025 or JEE Advanced 2025 are eligible to take part in JoSAA counselling and seat allocation.

There will be five rounds of counseling this year, with a final round reserved only for IIT and NIT+ institutions. After the results of the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) are announced on June 8, students who pass the test will be able to choose alternatives appropriate to their architecture.

On June 9 and June 11, JoSAA will release two simulated seat allocations to assist candidates in making well-informed decisions. The preferences entered up until those dates will determine this. By June 12, candidates must finalize their final selections. On June 14, following the required data reconciliation and verification, the first round’s seat allocation results will be announced.

Additionally, on June 2, 2025, IIT Kanpur will release the JEE Advanced 2025 results on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. To be eligible for those particular seats, students pursuing architecture studies must simultaneously be qualified for the AAT.

This year, a total of 8,33,536 candidates appeared for JEE Main 2025 across both Session 1 and Session 2, out of which 7,75,383 candidates passed.
