International students with talent who are seeking an MBA can benefit from the Glasgow MBA Scholarship 2025, a financial support initiative recently announced by the University of Glasgow. The scholarship, with awards reaching as high as EUR 18,750 (around Rs 17 lakh), aims to foster diversity, equality, and inclusion in the university’s internationally acclaimed business programme, according to the website.

This one-off scholarship is available to applicants from certain countries, including India, who have obtained either an unconditional offer or a conditional offer based exclusively on English language proficiency for the MBA intake in September 2025. Additionally, candidates must show either exceptional academic performance or an exemplary professional record, as well as pass the university’s interview process.

Eligible countries

Applications for the Glasgow MBA Scholarship are accepted from a diverse array of countries and regions, including Bangladesh, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, the USA (United States of America), Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe among others.

How to Apply

The process of applying is simple, yet it demands careful scrutiny. Students who meet the eligibility criteria must first submit an application and gain acceptance into the MBA programme. Upon admission, they can access the Glasgow MBA Scholarship Application Form through the university’s online portal and submit it with supporting documents via the Applicant Self-Service platform.

The necessary documents comprise academic transcripts, degree certificates, references, and evidence of English language proficiency, like IELTS or TOEFL scores. All files should be uploaded in .jpg, .jpeg, or .pdf format. Individual files must not exceed 5MB, and the total upload size should not exceed 10MB.

Applications must be submitted by 21 July 2025. Eligibility criteria and the strength of the applicant’s academic and professional background will be used to determine selection. During the evaluation process, financial need may also be taken into account.

We recommend that interested candidates start their application process without delay to guarantee that they fulfill all requirements prior to the deadline. If a candidate is uncertain about their eligibility to apply, they can reach out to scholarships@glasgow.ac.uk
