Applications are being accepted for the MSc in Communication Systems Engineering curriculum at Israel’s Ben-Gurion University

For the forthcoming academic year 2023–2024, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU), Israel, is accepting applications for its MSc degree in Communication Systems Engineering. In October, the course will begin. In Israel, the academic year runs from October to July. The annual cost of tuition for the MSc programme is about $5000. The application form can be filled out by students via the official website, bgu4u.bgu.ac.il.

Students who complete the two-year degree, which has a thesis (research) track, will have extensive knowledge of and research abilities in the disciplines of networking and communications. Students must have a BSc in Communication System engineering or a closely related discipline from an approved university with a minimum GPA of 80 out of 100 in order to apply for the curriculum. A TOEFL score of at least 85 out of 120, or an equivalent result on an internationally approved English language test, is required of candidates who are applying from abroad.  

Candidates who earned their BSc in an English-taught programme are exempt from taking the English competence test. GRE is advised but not necessary. The candidate should speak with a prospective advisor from the department before submitting an application for the MSc programme. To find an advisor, candidates should go to the BGU research site. The Communication Systems Engineering (CSE) Department collaborates closely with Israeli and international businesses, is affiliated with various start-ups, and takes part in FP7 projects through national and European consortia. Students in this curriculum will collaborate closely with faculty members and business partners to develop novel technologies that address contemporary issues.
