A few online and remote learning course exams have been rescheduled by the University of Mumbai due to the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Mumbai University notified on October 18 that all of the exams that were originally scheduled for November 19 and 20 have been postponed and will now take place on different days.

In its announcement, the university also disclosed the dates of the next exams. Exams scheduled for November 20 will now take place on December 7, and all exams scheduled for November 19 will now take place on November 30. The exam will still take place at the same time and location.

In the meantime, the University has prolonged the deadline for UG and PG students to apply to online and remote courses. Additionally, there is now a new deadline of October 30 for MMS course first-year admissions. In addition, there has been an extension of the admissions procedure for the first and second sessions of the Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management.

In addition, the State Government said that the Maharashtra State Skills University (MSSU) would bear Ratan Tata’s name in memory of the late industrialist who passed away on October 9. This occurs a few days after the Maharashtra Cabinet approved a resolution asking the Centre to grant Ratan Tata the Bharat Ratna, the nation’s highest civilian honor.

Ratan Tata, an industrialist, made a significant contribution to the growth of India’s industry. Along with giving jobs, he supported innovation and the establishment of new systems. The renowned Ratan Tataji and the varsity’s goal are very similar, according to MSSU Vice-Chancellor Dr. Apoorva Palkar.
