GATE 2025 Admit Card Release Date Postponed, New Date Here

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will release the GATE 2025 admit card on January 7. The gate2025.iitr.ac.in will host the GATE admit card 2025 link. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 will be conducted between February 1 and 16, 2025.

The original plan was to release the GATE 2025 admit card on January 2. But according to a statement on gate2025.iitr.ac.in, “GATE 2025 Admit Card Download will be available from 7th January 2025.”

Candidates must ensure that certain information on the GATE admit card 2025 is printed accurately after IIT Roorkee issues it and they download it. These are

1. Name of the candidate: The names of the candidate and their parents’ name should be correct
2. Paper combinations: The candidates must check if the paper combinations they had applied for are the same
3. Photograph of the candidate: The photograph of the candidate must be the same and visible. A candidate will not be allowed to appear if the photograph on the admit card is different.
4. Signature of the candidate: The signature of the candidate should be the same as that on the application form.
5. Students should check the exam centre and other details on the GATE admit card.

Before the exam begins, the candidate should get in touch with the GATE administering body right once if they see any inconsistencies on their GATE hall ticket 2025.

There will be 30 test papers in all for GATE 2025. Only one or two test papers are available for candidates to take. GATE will take place on weekends from February 1 to February 16 in two sessions: afternoon and afternoon. Exams for the afternoon session will take place from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., while those for the morning session will take place from 9.30 to 12.30 p.m.
