IP University Admissions 2025: IPU Application Process from Feb 1; CUET Score for Vacant Seats
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will start the admission process for various undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programmes from February 1. The University’s application form is for the academic session 2025-26 which has over 40,000 seats in 106 affiliated colleges and 18 university schools.
On February 1, IP University will open online applications for 46 master’s degree programs, 40 doctoral programs, and 34 undergraduate programs. Classes will begin on August 1. Admission to 20 undergraduate degree programs and 18 postgraduate degree programs will be made through CUET only for the available seats.
New courses
An MSc in Molecular Diagnostics, an MSc in Microbiology, a BPT, a three-year LLB, a postgraduate program in Applied Geoinformatics, and a postgraduate diploma in Radiological Physics are among the new courses that the university has added this year as part of the admissions process.
Reservation for single girl child
A maximum of two percent of the intake in a given program will be filled via the university schools’ sports quota, the press release stated, adding that one seat in each program will be set aside for unmarried girl child candidates.
CET 2025: Schedule
Online and offline counseling for other programs will start on June 2, while online counseling for MBA (via CAT), LLB, and LLM (through CLAT UG/PG) will start on May 1. A total of fifty-two common entry examinations (CETs) will be administered between April 26 and May 18.
National-level exams via JEE Main, NEET UG, PG, and SS, CAT, CMAT, NIMCET, CLAT-UG and PG, UCEED, NATA, etc. are among the different entry methods. According to the statement, admission to certain programs will also be determined on the candidate’s performance on qualifying exams.
At the time of application, a one-time payment of Rs 2,500 will be made, which includes the registration and counseling participation fees.
Other important highlights
–The ceiling of the EWS scholarship fund has been increased from 2.5 crore to 3.5 crore this year onwards.
–This year, approximately 250 additional seats have been added to various programs at the university campus, while 1600 new seats were added last year.
— For post-basic in BSc Nursing, earlier, only CET was considered starting from this year, interviews and merit of qualifying examinations have also been included.
