In a significant stride toward technology-driven education, the University College of Engineering (UCE), Osmania University has entered into a strategic partnership with ASBM Education Services to upskill students in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Analytics.

This landmark collaboration, guided by the visionary leadership of Prof. Kumar Molugaram, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University, marks a new chapter in strengthening industry-oriented learning for engineering students. A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was formally signed on June 20, 2025, in the presence of eminent academic leaders and representatives from ASBM.

Prof. Kumar Molugaram expressed his gratitude to the ASBM team for partnering with UCE and congratulated the college for taking proactive steps toward skill development in cutting-edge AI technologies within engineering domains.

The collaboration aims to launch industry-aligned certification programs, hands-on workshops, and practical learning modules that bridge the gap between academic curriculum and real-world industry demands. These initiatives are tailored to provide students with practical exposure to emerging technologies, empowering them to become future-ready professionals.

Ms. Savitha K R, Managing Director of ASBM Education Services, emphasized the critical need to align academic learning with the evolving needs of the tech industry. She highlighted that the partnership will equip students with the practical skills and applied knowledge required to succeed in today’s dynamic technological landscape.

Prof. Chandra Sekhar Pidimarry, Professor of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Principal of UCE, underscored the importance of academia-industry collaborations in preparing students to navigate modern technological challenges. He noted that this initiative aligns with Osmania University’s vision of becoming a center of excellence in innovation and advanced technologies.

Prof. B. Mang, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Vice Principal of UCE, remarked that this partnership would significantly enhance students’ core competencies in emerging tech domains, improving their employability and global competitiveness. He also emphasized the importance of extending learning opportunities beyond traditional classroom settings.

Adding to the discourse, Prof. Gaddam Mallesham, Professor of Electrical Engineering, highlighted the collaboration’s potential to foster interdisciplinary research and advanced learning, especially within the realm of Electrical Engineering. He expressed confidence that this initiative would open new avenues for student growth and play a vital role in nurturing future-ready engineers.
